The loss of a loved one is a difficult time. It is an honour for us to be invited to accompany you through the death, burial, and grieving, in any way that might be helpful.
We can offer a number of things to those who walk through the valley of the shadow of death: prayers with those who are sick or dying, prayers at the time of death, prayers after death, funeral and memorial services, burial – in our cemetery or elsewhere, and commemorations of loved ones.
In the case of an anticipated death or a funeral, it is easiest if you contact us before or as soon as possible after the death; this will allow us to help you discern how we can best accompany you in this difficult time.
We offer memorial services at various times throughout the year. Families from time to time may also offer memorial flowers to the church in memory of a loved one, or a gift of money for cemetery upkeep or for the ministry and mission of the parish. We can discuss these options with you.
